This redesign of the album The Con by Tegan and Sara is a personal project based on my love and appreciation for them to celebrate the 10 years of the album. It was thought as a set of both posters and postcards. The style and colors meant to follow the style of the art of their album.
I WAS MARRIED
“The muscles faught so long, to control against the pull of one magnet to another magnet”
The concept was based on the idea of the hearts representing the muscles fighting against the magnetic, chemical attraction between two people.
RELIEF NEXT TO ME
“I miss you now, I guess like I should’ve missed you then”, “I can’t untangle”, “Now there’s just no point in reaching out for you”
The representation of this song was meant as the idea of someone trying to reach onto someone else, but being stuck, tangled and not being able to do so, while we are trapped inside the passing of time and regrets.
